I have spent thirty years working inside complex international projects — on construction sites from sunrise to sunset, in shipyards, in engineering offices and field camps across Europe and beyond. That experience is what I bring to your project now, remotely and on-site: The ability to make complex technical environments communicate clearly, in multiple languages, under real conditions.

I specialise in sustainability-focused projects — offshore wind, ecosystem restoration, energy transition, maritime operations — where technical precision and clear communication are equally critical. I provide documentation, multilingual coordination and structured project support at senior level, for organisations that need experienced oversight without a permanent hire.

I work with international teams across languages, time zones and professional cultures. I am equally at home drafting a risk assessment for a North Sea vessel crew, synthesising a year’s worth of field notes into a funder report or untangling undocumented processes that live only in engineers’ memory – and transforming them into company internal knowledge bases.

An early adopter of AI tools, I use a carefully selected few in my work — for confidential and GDPR compliant transcription, research, and documentation workflows. Not for my own writing, which remains my own. I stay current with developments in this space and can help clients understand where these tools genuinely save time and where the human expert needs to remain in control.

My formal education: BSc Environmental Studies (renewable energies & sustainable business innovation, Open University UK) · Translator’s Diploma German/Italian (Akad University, Stuttgart) · Working languages: German · English · Dutch · Italian.
