Welcome here. I serve busy international technical projects with efficient communications and flexible operational support. Preferably sustainable and innovative projects. Big part of this happens in written form, since many years. And that means I can provide your project with very useful text material as well, for a variety of scopes. Among other, I produce
- articles and blog posts
- howto guides / quick onboarding materials
- safety protocols
- project status reports
- glossaries of terms
- project presentations (content-wise)
- multilingual web content (and -management)
- product descriptions
- when supplier sourcing: Description of deliverables / project scope
- job vacancy / recruitment texts in multiple languages
My texts are easy to read. They provide clear information, summaries and / or guidelines whilst minimizing misunderstandings.
When writing promotional articles, I provide inspiring context and thus highlight the product’s value and potentials as problem-solver.
My travel writing focuses on activities and places off the beaten paths – and on special interests. Like industrial heritage, astronomy aficionados, sport & travel combinations, sustainable innovations. Or dedicated itineraries for travelers who abhor crowds and noise.
For instance.
A large part of my above listed writing thus far happened in the context of paid corporate work. Which also means I had the fine advantage throughout the years to watch first hand whether my written material turned out useful in practice or not. And if so, to what degree – an invaluable, constant training on the job.
Should you decide to work with me, I’d bring along long-term work experience with / knowledge about project coordination, crew management, PMO, supplier sourcing, technical translations and interpreting. Combined with a solid understanding of the maritime, environmental, travel and automotive industries.
Also part of my background: 7 years as technical editor for a multinational in the automotive industry. A Bachelor of Science in Environmental studies, with focus on sustainable business innovations. A translators diploma German / Italian. And generally speaking four active working languages.
Welcome with any questions you may have if the above sounds interesting. I’ll be happy to give you more details and / or send you a non binding offer.
Here is my CV in classical chronological edition.
I am based in The Netherlands since 2002.
